John Maybury
John Maybury is a genetically predisposed editor and former bookworm who was drafted to work
on his junior high school newspaper because he was the only kid who knew how to type. Today he is a freelance copy
editor/proofreader for a number of publications, including "Forbes ASAP", "Packard Foundation Journal"
and "Health Forum Journal." He also freelances for advertising agencies, corporations and nonprofit organizations.
He writes environmental features for the "Sierra Club" newspaper of the Peninsula and for the "Pacifica
Tribune."
When his brain is not engaged in print mode, John bikes, hikes and swims for relaxation. His favorite travel option
is trains.
