Carolyn Talmadge
Carolyn Talmadge has been a harbinger of East meets West in her academic and experiential training for over 30
years. A graduate of Stanford University, she specialized in Asian art and history. She continued informal studies
at Harvard University and the San Francisco Asian Art Museum.
Since 1970 Carolyn has taught T'ai Chi in local schools, yoga centers, dance studios, health clubs and at the University
of California Arthritis Center. Currently she teaches at the College of Marin and through the Elderhostel where
she instructs courses in interdisciplinary Asian studies.
