From the Silk Road to Globalization: How Trade Shapes the World

Since humans settled the Fertile Crescent they have searched for better food, tools or luxury items. This course will examine how these economic forces have influenced events in Europe and Asia in both ancient and modern times.

Gloria Neumeier's experiences living and teaching in Asian and European universities will contribute to the content of this course.
