Books and supplies for Community Education classes are available in the Kentfield and Indian Valley Campus Bookstore.

Students Under 18

Students who are minors may register for Community Education classes. A note signed by a parent or guardian stating that the parent or guardian assumes responsibility for the student's safe transportation to and from class is required, unless the parent or guardian is enrolled in the same class.

Children 13 years or under also need the verbal consent of the CES instructor prior to registration in addition to submitting a note from their parent and school principal. To contact a CES instructor, or if you have any questions please call 415.485.9305.

LIBRARY SERVICES

The Kentfield Campus Library has an online catalog with public Internet access. Our two CD-ROM periodical indexes provide quick and easy access to our magazines, journals and newspapers. Registered students may obtain a library card which entitles them to check out circulating books. Reference librarians are on hand to assist students during most hours at the Kentfield Campus.

The College of Marin has a satellite dish and teleconference facility. It is available to community groups that wish to participate in interactive teleconferences. Phone the Facilities Use Office at (415) 485-9311 for more information or email: cheryl.carlson@marin.edu

REENTRY SERVICES

The Reentry Services Program assists adults 25 years and older who are entering college after a break in their education. Academic, personal, and career counseling is available. Staff provides information and referral for campus and community services pertinent to the needs of reentry people. Special support services are available for Calworks students.

The Media Center/Language Lab is a listening and viewing area where students have access to a variety of media materials,including audio tapes for foreign langage courses. Also available for student use are PC and Macintosh computers.

DISABLED STUDENTS PROGRAM

The Disabled Students Program provides services for students with learning, physical, and communicative disabilities. Services include academic, personal, and vocational counseling and diagnostic testing/remediation for the learning disabled. The program offers readers, notetakers, interpreters, tutors, adaptive equipment loan, special credit and noncredit classes, and adaptive computer training. OPEN ENROLLMENT POLICY
It is the policy of College of Marin that unless specifically exempted by statute, every course, course section or class, the attendance of which is to be reported for State aid, shall be fully open to enrollment and participation by any person who has been admitted to the College and who meets such prerequisites as may be established pursuant to Chapter II, Division 2, Part VI, Title V of the California Code.
