General Course Information:

Duration:

All courses last for a period of six weeks and are design to take 24 hours to complete, 4 hours per week.

Lessons:

There will be two lessons taught each week and they will be available to you on Wednesdays and Fridays at noon. You will not be able to access a lesson until it has been released, however, you will be able to access all previously released lessons.

Discussion Area:

If you need assistance with the course material, there is a discussion area, where you can ask questions and receive answers. The discussion area in each lesson only remains open ten days after the lesson is released.

Assignments:

Some lessons will also be accompanied by an assignment that has been designed to give you a hands-on application of the skills taught in that lesson and some will have supplemental information to help you with the class.

Quizzes:

Most lessons will be accompanied by a short, multiple-choice quiz. Quizzes can be retaken until you are satisfied with your score.

Finals:

The final exam is available after your last lesson. You might want to print it out first to go over it. Unlike the quizzes, you can only take the final once. You have two weeks to complete it and turn it in. To successfully complete the course, and download a letter of completion, you must take the final. The quizzes are there for you to go over the material covered in the chapter, but it is the final that must be submitted to receive your letter of completion. Since this is a non-credit class, no letter grades are given.
